The workshops (Sep 6) on day one will be held at Science Congress Center Munich-Garching:

The conference (Sep 7-9) will take place at Fraunhofer AISEC in Munich-Garching (8 min walk from subway):
Lichtenbergstraße 11, 85748 Garching, Germany


How to get there

By train

The closest subway station is “Garching Forschungszentrum”. The subway line U6 (blue color) will directly take you to “Garching Forschungszentrum” from “Marienplatz” or “Odeonsplatz” in approx. 25 minutes.

From the central station “Hauptbahnhof”, take the U4 (turquoise color) or U5 (brown color) to “Odeonsplatz” or any S-Bahn to “Marienplatz”. Then take the U6 in the direction of “Garching Forschungszentrum” (travel time approx. 35 min.).

By car

On the motorway A9 Munich-Nuremberg take the exit “Garching-Nord” in the direction of “Forschungsinstitute”. At the first traffic light turn left towards “Freising”, at the next traffic light turn right into Lichtenbergstraße. After approx. 70 m you will find the institute on the right hand side.

By plane

From Airport Munich to campus Garching either with S1 to Neufahrn, from there take bus 690;
or S-Bahn S8 to Ismaning and take bus 230. Traveltime about 50 minutes.


Parking place

Around the building there are enough parking spaces for visitors.

– there are a variety of hotels close to the city center (“Marienplatz” or “Odeonsplatz” approx. 25 minutes)
